A short documentary exploring the lives of a couple who broke up and created together The Museum of Broken Relationships.

My main role was as the editor on Broken Ship, I was also the on location photographer. From the beginning we wanted to be able to tell the story of some of the objects in the museum, to do this I motion tracked the footage of the objects in the museum and used animated typography to tell the story of the objects. We came up with different creative ways for the text to appear, for example during the toaster story we decided to have the text pop up from the toaster, this also gave the film a lighthearted playfulness which is what we wanted.
